Waterford Man Brings Five ‘Little Free Libraries’ to His Community

Excerpt: When Adam Stephens stumbled upon a “Little Free Library” in Clarkston, his first thought was, “Waterford needs something like this!”

And so he decided to make it happen.

Stephens installed his first “Little Free Library” in his own front yard, across the street from Rotary Park off Tubbs Road. A “Little Free Library” is a small wooden box staked into the ground, filled with books for all ages. When a community member comes across one of these libraries, they are encouraged to take a book and leave a book.
