Valeo again earns ‘Top Employer’ certification in the U.S. and Mexico

Valeo has been certified as a Top Employer in the United States and Mexico by the Top Employers Institute for 2016, its third year in a row. Valeo also is one of only eight companies to earn Global Top Employer certification, achieving this honor for the second year in a row.

In North America, Valeo has tripled its revenue and tripled its workforce in the past five years and continues to grow, seeking new talent throughout the region.

“Top Employer certification is an important differentiator as we compete in an environment of low unemployment and high demand for talent,” said Françoise Colpron, Group President, Valeo North America. “We are seeking to fill positions throughout the U.S., Mexico and Canada, and this certification is an indication to candidates that Valeo is a place where they may put their skills and talents to work in a wide variety of disciplines, within a rewarding environment.

”With an ambitious strategic vision based on reducing carbon emissions, delivering innovation in Intuitive Driving technologies and new mobility, and expanding in fast-growing regions, Valeo has driven a 70% increase in revenue since 2009.

Around the world, 96 different nationalities are working together in Valeo’s 29 host countries.

To qualify for the Global Top Employer label, 20 countries must be certified individually on five continents. Valeo met this goal with 22 countries certified, including the Czech Republic for the first time this year.
Top Employer certification is based on a variety of criteria, including talent management and career management, where Valeo earned the highest scores.

Top Employer certification, awarded by the Top Employers Institute, recognizes organizations that demonstrate the best human resources management practices, particularly in the areas of attracting and developing talent, compensation and benefits, training and leadership development.
