Carrabba’s Italian Grill debuts new look and brings nearly 120 jobs to Troy

Carrabba’s Italian Grill will open its first Troy location on January 13 at 600 West Big Beaver Road in the Galleria of Troy, just off I-75. The new restaurant is the first in the Detroit area with the new design that features a mix of traditional and contemporary design inspired by the look and feel of Italy. The 5,654-square-foot location features an open kitchen, a relaxed and casual dining room and bar with family tables, an open kitchen atmosphere and a modern Italian bar.

“We’re excited to be a new neighbor and we’re looking forward to becoming part of the Troy community,” said Kevin Ellis, Managing Partner of the Troy Carrabba’s.

To help serve the Troy community, Carrabba’s has hired nearly 120 area residents to join the Carrabba’s team. Carrabba’s will open for lunch at 11 a.m. immediately following a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:45 a.m. with the Troy Chamber of Commerce and city officials.

In support of the community, Troy Carrabba’s Italian Grill will donate 50 percent of opening day sales (up to $5,000.00) to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Troy to support programs benefiting local youth. “We are grateful that Carrabba’s selected us to benefit from their grand opening, and we are looking forward to developing a wonderful partnership with this new member of our community,” said Jeff Evans, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Troy. “It is through the generosity of local citizens and businesses such as Carrabba’s that we are able to effectively serve so many young people at the Club.”
