ACS opens regional office in Troy

ACS continues to expand geographically with the opening of a regional office in Troy, MI. The office will be staffed to serve the automotive market in the delivery of engine and vehicle test equipment and facility solutions.

The ACS office in Troy, located at 1050 Wilshire Drive, will be headed by Chris Arnold, Managing Director, ACS Michigan. Mr. Arnold is a native of Michigan and brings 20 years of experience in the engine and vehicle test marketplace. “This location allows ACS to better serve automotive manufacturers and suppliers, delivering testing solutions ranging from one-of-a-kind pieces of test equipment to greenfield technical centers”, said Arnold. “I look forward to bringing the resources and experience of ACS to the greater Detroit area.”

As the company celebrates 20 years in business, ACS has grown in size and expertise by partnering with clients to help them achieve their testing and operation goals. The company counts among their customers such diesel manufacturer industry leaders as Caterpillar, Cummins, John Deere, and MTU America. The Michigan office will bring ACS expertise and experience to the concentration of automotive testing in southeast Michigan. The company also looks forward to better serving existing customers including Daimler, MAHLE, and Umicore with a local presence.

“We are a relationship-driven company,” states Scott Hoselton, VP Business Development. “Our customers tell us that they value our technical expertise, experience, and our integrated approach to the design and construction of their complex test equipment and facilities. Ultimately though, it’s our ability to partner with our client’s team to successfully deliver projects that’s helped us grow as an organization.”

ACS also recently celebrated the opening of an expanded manufacturing facility in Middleton, Wisconsin where the company produces custom equipment solutions including mechanical, fluid, and control systems for their client’s unique test and facility support requirements.
