Lawrence Technological University is holding a networking series for displaced or out of work college-educated workers. LTU is looking for more employers to come to the Jan. 28 event. Thirty companies participated in the last networking reception.
Employers with openings are invited to attend a free networking reception for displaced college-educated workers on Jan. 28 at Lawrence Technological University.
Representatives from approximately 30 companies participated at the previous “Recovery Starts Here” networking reception in August, the third in a series of networking opportunities for potential employees.
These series of networking events are not restricted to Lawrence Tech alumni and students, and there are no fees for either job seekers or companies.
“This is a chance to meet many impressive and qualified candidates who are eager to put their skills back to work,” said Peg Pierce, director of Lawrence Tech’s Office of Career Services. “In turn, job seekers can get a better idea of how to prepare themselves for today’s challenging job market.”
