As Michigan continues to adjust to its new normal, Royal Park Hotel is creatively planning local staycations to enjoy a getaway close to home. Launching this month, guests will have the option of choosing one of several new packages designed to enjoy social distancing, family time and the great outdoors, all while staying local and experiencing the Every Day Luxury Royal Park Hotel is known for.

“We know that people are ready to get out and enjoy the summer,” said Sue Keels, Royal Park Hotel General Manager. “We want to help them make the most of all that the local area has to offer, while also still thinking of ways to socially distance and enjoy friends and family. We are excited to launch the Travel Like a Local Summer Tour and are quickly seeing people book their summer get-aways!”

The Royal Park Family Glamping Package includes overnight accommodations, a keepsake electric S’more maker & DIY S’more’s, lantern’s for the kids and a Michigan bedtime story. Guests are encouraged to bring sleeping bags and bikes to enjoy the Paint Creek Trail located just steps away from the hotel.

Keeping with the outdoor theme, Royal Park has installed cabanas along the Paint Creek allowing guests to enjoy an afternoon or evening by the water featuring an exclusive private cabana menu served by the hotel’s PARK 600 restaurant. The Creekside Cabana Package includes cabana seating by the creek, access to yard games, an overnight stay in an executive king guest room, preferred room rates for additional guests that would like to stay the night, and a custom Creekside cabana menu to choose from.

For golf enthusiasts, Royal Park Hotel has partnered with OU Golf and Learning Center to offer a two-night stay golf package that includes golf for two to this much-desired course. Guests will have the choice of golfing at OU’s R&S Sharf or Katke-Cousins course along with a two-night stay at Royal Park Hotel.
