Rochester Hills’ AMC Star will undergo $4.2M renovation

With TV screens getting bigger and better, movie theaters in Oakland County are also getting a new look.

Emagine Rochester Hills will spend a whopping $4.2M to improve Rochester Hills’ only first-run movie theater, the AMC Star. Though the theater will decrease total seating from 3,200 to about 1,900, viewers can expect wider aisles, bigger screens and more comfortable seats.
