Citizens that have ideas for the streetscape being designed for downtown Oxford will want to attend the open house that will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 4-7 p.m. at downtown Oxford’s ArtCapsule Gallery & Frame (5 S. Washington St.) Back in July, the Downtown Development Authority authorized spending $52,500 to develop a design to make the streetscape more pedestrian-friendly and help slow motor vehicle traffic. “This is a big project,” said Oxford Village Councilman Kevin Stephison, who also chairs DDA board. “We need everyone’s input on it, so we can make an informed decision.”
