Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson encourages local businesses to ‘Come to the Great Lakes State Fair!’ to be held Labor Day Weekend in Oakland County at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan, from Aug. 31 through Sept. 3.
‘We welcome the return of the State Fair and we’re proud to host it in Oakland County,’ said Patterson. ‘I encourage all companies to sponsor a booth and show everybody all the great things we make here in Michigan.’
Companies are invited to become a Great Lakes State Fair Exhibitor. The event has several opportunities for displays, including Michigan Pavilion featuring Michigan-made products. On Aug. 30, there will be a VIP reception and Charity Reception along with a special press preview. For a vendor application, see www.GreatLakesStateFair.org/vendors.
The family-focused event will be jam-packed with all the typical excitement of previous State Fairs, including animals, agriculture, Michigan-made products, food and beverages, entertainment, a midway and carnival rides. The Detroit Shrine Circus will also be featured under The Big Top during the fair, with tickets included in the all-inclusive admission price.
