County Parks and Rec Adaptive Recreation program hosts Novi Hoedown for people with disabilities

Oakland County Parks and Recreation Adaptive Recreation program hosts Novi Hoedown for individuals with disabilities ages 18 and older on Friday, Nov. 22 at Novi Parks and Recreation Cultural Services.

“We are looking forward to a night of dancing the two-step to country music and lots of wholesome fun. We hope participants leave the event feeling like yelling, ‘yee-haw!’ This is the first time Oakland County Parks is offering this event and we hope to see it grow,” Recreation Program Supervisor Sandy Dorey said.

The event runs from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. and includes an evening of dancing, pizza and refreshments.
Cost is $8/person if registered by Nov. 15; $10/person beginning Nov. 16.
