Beyond Juicery + Eatery, a fast-growing juice bar, will open its newest location at 7 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 19 in Downtown Milford. The eatery known for its smoothies, wraps, salads and more has collaborated with various other health conscious businesses in Milford to create a unique and locally grown menu.
The Milford-centric menu will feature signature drinks inspired by neighboring businesses, Ahern Family Chiropractic,CrossFit Justice, In Harmony Yoga & Wellness, Method Barre of Milford and Milford Pilates Club.
“Milford is a special community and it was important for us to incorporate and collaborate with other businesses,” said Matthew Long, owner and operator of Beyond Juice Milford. “Each drink will tie back to their business and people can then receive discounts for services at their establishments. It’s been fun collaborating and meeting other business owners.”
In addition to the signature community drinks, Beyond Juice Milford will serve:
- Build your own salad bowls and various ready-to-order salad bowl options like the Prescott Bowl, a romaine-based salad complete with quinoa, corn and black bean salsa, avocado, cheddar and tomatoes served with lime vinaigrette.
- Several wrap selections like The Original egg white wrap, packed with tomatoes, cheddar cheese and avocados.
- A myriad of fresh juice and smoothie flavors including the Mango Tango, a blend of mangos, pineapples, bananas, cream of coconut and honey.
- Grab and go options including GoNanas Banana Bread and gluten free selections from Grand Rapids based GFB (Gluten Free Bar) – exclusive to the Milford location.
Upon opening, Beyond Juice will have a reduced seating capacity and all employees and customers are required to wear a mask. Plexiglass partitions are installed at the registers for customer and employee protection. A new dining deck was added outside the location as part of the additional outdoor seating installations along Main St. this summer.
“Opening a business during a pandemic has added challenges, but once the community knew we were opening our doors, their spirit has really been our driving force,” said Long. “Whether it was the local businesses letting us host interviews at their establishments or pass our drink samples, residents showing excitement for our opening or the support and guidance of the Milford Downtown Development Authority, it has all been phenomenal.”
To celebrate the new location, opening day visitors can snag a free small strawberry banana smoothie from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 19.
“We’re thrilled to support and welcome Beyond Juice + Eatery to downtown Milford,” said Ann Barnette, executive director of the Milford Downtown Development Authority. “Their commitment to not just opening but immersing themselves in our community by supporting neighboring businesses demonstrates they are the perfect addition to our downtown dining and shopping district.”
Local delivery through GrubHub and UberEats will be offered, as well as curbside pickup for online ordering. First time users of the Beyond Juice App, can download and receive a free smoothie of their choice when ordering.
