“The new Red Oaks Nature Center hours were designed to allow guests more access to the Nature Center and to allow for the expansion of new programs,” Park Supervisor Matt Pardy said. “Along with almost doubling the Nature Center hours, we are launching birthday party programs and school field trip offerings at the Nature Center. We are excited to continue to grow our nature program offerings at the Red Oaks Nature Center.”
“Wild Birthday Parties” will now be available at Red Oaks Nature Center as well as at OCP’s Wint Nature Center at Independence Oaks in Clarkston. The birthday parties are designed for children ages 4-12 and can accommodate up to 18 children. The party package includes an hour and a half party with a nature talk and a game and craft or hike; party invitations and decorations; and a goodie bag for each child.
