Total Door announces the grand opening of its environmentally friendly facility

Total Door, the only integrated door systems manufacturer in the world, will celebrate the grand opening of its new, environmentally friendly, Feng Shui inspired, innovative manufacturing and training facility on October 12, 2009.

With the support of the State of Michigan and Oakland County, Total Door was able to completely re-engineer an existing facility, increasing its manufacturing capacity by 400%. “In a time of unprecedented economic uncertainty, especially in Michigan, we have been able to strategically position ourselves to meet the current and future needs of our customers,” said Patricia Yulkowski, Total Door® Chief Executive Officer.

From their humble beginning dating back to the early 1970s, Total Door Founders Leon and Christine Yulkowski focused on their vision that ‘customer service’ is one of their strongest differentiators and that their mission ‘to solve problems for their customers’ will help them maintain a leadership status in their industry.

Total Door is honored to have Rep. Gary Peters (D-Mich.) as the guest speaker during the grand opening ceremony that will be attended by invited customers, government dignitaries, suppliers, journalists and Total Door employees and their families.
