‘Tis the season for theatre and Farmington Hills has something for you.

Excerpt:

You’ve heard of the British nation? The French nation? If you take a
trip to the Farmington Players Barn, you will arrive at the “IMAGI-NATION,” and discover quite a holiday treat.

That’s
a twist on a famous line from the classic Christmas play, Miracle on
34th Street, which runs through Dec. 13 in Farmington Hills. Tickets
are available online at farmingtonplayers.org or by calling the box
office at (248) 553-2955.

The
show, directed by Amy Lauter of Farmington Hills, serves up a spectacle
on stage never before seen in the Barn’s 56-year history.

The
moment the stage manager commands, “Lights go. Music go. Main up,” the
Barn transforms into a virtual winter wonderland, in which Santa Claus
goes on trial and a little girl’s faith gets tested. Miracle is the
first show to use the Barn’s newly installed rigging system, which
allows more creativity and flexibility in staging productions.
