Oakland County Parks offers golf course volunteer training

EVENT NAME:

Golf Course Volunteer Orientation and Training

WHAT:

Oakland County Parks golf courses seek volunteers to help at four courses during the 2010 golf season, from April – September.

Volunteers are required to attend training and commit to a regular schedule, one day/week, in exchange for golf. Shifts vary from 4 – 8 hours. Training sessions will be held at respective Oakland County Parks golf courses.

Candidates should have good customer service skills. Volunteer duties include staging carts for patrons, washing carts, cleaning, promoting hospitality with guests and the community. Ages 18 and up.

  • March 23, 9:30 a.m. – Glen Oaks Golf Course, 30500 Thirteen Mile Road, Farmington Hills
  • March 24, 9:30 a.m. – White Lake Oaks Golf Course, 991 Williams Lake Road, White Lake
  • March 24, 4 p.m. – Red Oaks Golf Course, 29600 John R. Road, Madison Heights
  • March 25, 10 a.m. – Springfield Oaks Golf Course, 12450 Andersonville Road, Davisburg
