Chilly Open kicks off the golf season

Chilly Open Kicks Off the Golf Season at Red Oaks Golf Course

Golfers are invited to participate in the Chilly Open at Red Oaks Golf Course at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 22. The event is a nine-hole two-person scramble for golfers ages 16 and over.

“This is a great way for golfers to get outdoors, shake off cabin fever and start the season at Oakland County Parks and Recreation golf courses. This is a popular event and it will take place regardless of weather,” Supervisor of Golf Revenue and Operations Darlene Rowley said.

Cost is $45/two-person team and includes nine holes of golf with contests, prizes and a light meal. Teams may pre-register by March 18. Walking golfers only; pull carts are available for $3/each.
