Baker College hosts FAFSA workshop, offers 10 $500 scholarships

Baker College of Auburn Hills will host its 2011 Financial Aid Workshop
on Saturday, Feb. 12; designed to help area college-bound high school
seniors and their parents navigate the Free Application for Federal
Student Aid for the 2011-2012 academic year. The event is free to all
potential college students, whether they have yet made a choice of
college.

Baker College will raffle off prizes at the workshops, including 10
scholarships for $500 to Baker College in Auburn Hills.

Financial aid officers will conduct the workshop, providing a profile
and explanation of the various types of financial aid available to
students. Detailed instructions for completing the online financial aid
form will be part of the workshop. Admissions advisors will also be on
hand to answer questions and offer information about Baker College of
Auburn Hills.

Helpful, but not required, documents to bring include: 2010 federal and
state 1040 tax returns for parents and students (if possible), and 2010
W-2 forms for parents and students.

The Financial Aid Workshop will be held in the student center on the
Baker College of Auburn Hills campus, 1500 University Drive, Auburn
